Caribou
Hunting and Wingshooting
In Manitoba’s wild barren land on the boreal forest’s
edge, our Dymond Lake Lodge and our mini-lodges at Commonwealth
and Schmock Lakes are located in the Central Barren Ground
Caribou and waterfowl migration route.
A remote paradise, this unexplored territory is rich with
trophy caribou and waterfowl – in fall the Arctic
Tundra comes alive with wildlife. Our lakes are positively
teeming with Lake Trout and Arctic Grayling adding still
more to your wilderness experience.
Moose Hunting
Picture yourself in the midst of a remote and pristine
wilderness - sand eskers, tall spruce, spectacular fall
colors and a crisp breeze – the moose hunting experience
of a lifetime…from the luxury of our North Knife
Lake Lodge.
We’ve got the hunter’s choice - combination
trips and fly-outs are available – ask about our
Goo-Boo, Moo-Boo, Moo-Goo-Boo packages as well as fishing
fly-outs.
Churchill
Wild
Choose from three Churchill adventures - wildlife and
wilderness - up close and personal.
Birds, Bears and Belugas at Seal River Heritage Lodge
- See, hear, touch and swim with thousands of Beluga whales
at the estuary. Hike in Polar Bear country. The Hudson
Bay coastline around our lodge is a favorite summer haunt
for these majestic creatures. Watch for wolves, caribou,
seals, foxes and a wide variety of birds and wildflowers.
Great Ice Bear at Dymond
Lake Lodge - In the late
fall, the area is dusted in snow and the Polar Bear waits
in anticipation of the freeze up of the Hudson Bay. Our
guides will lead your group on excursions to view and
photograph a mother bear and her cubs or watch in awe
as two 1500 pound heavyweights spar for dominance.
Polar Bears in the wilderness combined with northern lights
viewing opportunities and a Tundra Buggy ride in Churchill
make this the ultimate Polar Bear expedition.
Fire and Ice at Dymond Lake
Lodge - Travel in the footsteps
of ancient explorers across the Churchill River and along
the Hudson Bay coast. Experience the thrill of driving
your own team of dogs (or snowmobile) across this winter
wonderland of snow and ice while you look for seals, wolves,
foxes and moose. Each clear night, watch for the Aurora
Borealis, the greatest light show on earth.
We add learning and cultural components to our adventures,
incorporating local culture and the history of the indigenous
people, explorers and pioneers.
Our warm and comfortable accommodations, remote wilderness
setting, gourmet cuisine and family-run service combined
with the adventure, make your experience truly unforgettable.
